Parish church of Siviriez
Near the choir, to the right of the tabernacle, is the "Marguerite Bays Chapel". A reliquary containing the Blessed's mortal remains is on display.
Outside, in the cemetery, has been preserved the tomb of Marguerite Bays and the cross-shaped stone that serves as a monument. It reads this inscription:
"She lived by doing good, her memory will remain blessed, revered sister, dear and tender godmother, do not forget those you left on earth.
Marguerite walked from La Pierra to the parish church to live Mass, the highlight of her day. On the way, she meditated on the mysteries of the Rosary and praised God in his Creation. Adorer of Jesus to the Blessed Sacrament, she loved to remain in His Presence at the foot of the tabernacle.
On Sundays, when it was not her turn to prepare dinner, Marguerite would attend the morning mass, then go for a coffee at the home of a friend of Siviriez's and return to the high mass.
