Personal prayer of Marguerite

O Holy Victim,
draw me after You,
we will walk together.

That I suffer with You, that is right.

Do not listen to my repugnance;
let me accomplish in my flesh
what is lacking in your sufferings.

I embrace the Cross, I want to die with You.

It is in the wound of your Sacred Heart
that I wish to breathe my last.

Lord Jesus,
draw me to you,
for I want to walk with you all the days of my life.

Lord Jesus,
I embrace Your cross which sustains me in all my doubts and difficulties.

Through it shines the light of Easter joy,

Lord Jesus,
when my death comes, I surrender myself in the love of
of your Sacred Heart which is the Sun of life,
of mercy and resurrection.
