Margaret's devotion to the Merciful Heart of Jesus and the love with which she cared for the suffering encouraged the Abbot to offer the possibility of receiving God's forgiveness and prayer for the sick with individual blessing.

The celebration of the Eucharist, which was the joy and highlight of Margaret's days, ends this afternoon of prayer in thanksgiving.

The date of the 27th of each month was chosen because it was on the 27th of June 1879, during the octave of the Feast of the Sacred Heart, that Saint Marguerite Bays entered Eternity.

This is how the 27th of the month came to be.

Welcome to all pilgrims for this time of grace and blessings!
